How to learn something?

When I want to learn something new, I just have to dive in and experiment. For me, the more resources I stockpile upfront, the more overwhelmed I get. It's lead to procrastination

For example, when I got interested in Transformers, I just started reading the original paper. As I went, I'd get curious and confused about different terms. That confusion was actually the most useful part. It sparked new questions and gave me a clear direction for what to look up next. I don't need to map everything out in advance; I build the map as I go.
